Description La Petite France in Strasbourg - a really charming fachwerk architecture.
First watercolor painting since coming to Karlsruhe - result of having too much free time (unbelievable, having so much free time in the middle of the semester! Erasmus really is the best) and too much to think about. Although it's not really good (somehow this mixed technique doesn't work for me anymore...), I hope it is the beginning of me overcoming this artist block I've been having for a while now.
Technique: watercolor + fineliner.

Hehe, it sure is! and wines too, but let's not forget about the "tarte flambΓ©e" (or Flammkuchen as they call it on my side of the border), it's just great I really enjoyed visting Strasbourg and I regret, that in November when I was there, the weather wouldn't allow painting plein-air. Thanks for commenting

the detail in this is really amazing, your use of color is really nice. All though the perspective seems a little off this is still a cool piece.

The perspective actually seems alright, the river is bending, so the buildings shouldn't be aligned. I actually think it makes it more dynamic.

yes, the river is bending, so the general perspective of buildings is correct, but you can spot some mistakes in perspective on the detail, I guess anyway thanks you both
