Description Hello there!

New deviation, it's my dog Max.
It's an flatcoated retriever.

Took me about 8,5 hours.
Pencils 6B, 4B, 2B, B, HB, H and 3H.
It's on A4 format.

(want you to do a full view for the details on the hair!!)

nice drawing what are flat coateds like, personality wise? Im considering getting either a FCR or a golden retriever... sorry... just havnt found someone with a flat coated before!

well.. our doggy is a bit too soft... they are really soft en they really love attention.. but our dog has been castrated, so he's even more lovely than others

Besides, they really love to run through the forest or fields, they retrieve animals like rabbits hehe.. but at home they're really lovely and they love people most of the times..

I think the caracters of FCR or golden do not differ that much.. I had a golden before Max, and she was also really cute..

really? awesome... That just made my decision even harder though! And I still cant decide whether Id get a male or female (either way, would be desexed) I really want a people dog so sounds like FCRs and Goldens are the choice for me.. just.. which one.. lol. thanks a bunch

Maxje!! Oh zo lief! Heel goed gedaan, die vacht, de richting van de haren en de glans zijn heel goed. En hij kijkt zelfs even zielig Wel was iets donkerder misschien beter geweest, omdat dat beest natuurlijk stiekem pikzwart is, haha. Maar echt goed werk

Erg mooi. Alleen mist-ie wat contrast, denk ik. Ik bedoel, het zwarte kan volgens mij zwarter.

dat kan ja, maar ik heb dat expres niet zo zwart gemaakt, omdat t dan 1 zwarte vlek wordt.

tis een zwarte hond, en om de details weer te geven kun je beter alles wat lichter maken.
