I so wish I was a bit better so I could do this stuff justice. Sigh. Ah, well...I'll fix it in the morning.Yep…it’s Kouga and Kagura from a scene from Urd-Chan’s fic, Enemy Mine. Had to do it more doujinshi style…wanted to show both characters expressions. This little event happens in Chapter Seven, I believe. Kouga gets lippy and a certain wind youkai up-ends his swaggering, argumentative ass into a river as retaliation.
Yes, holy cleavage on Kagura, Batman! Sorry, I couldn’t help it! Kagura is a lady who knows how to flaunt it when she needs to…hell, she managed to capture manga Sesshoumaru’s fancy, for goodness sake…so I figured I’d double her…ahem…assets. But this is anime…when are a woman’s assets NOT doubled? Or tripled. Oye.
And Kouga…thought I’d try something funky with his eyes. That nothing but pupil thing is just too weird! Come to think of it…it’s all weird. Never tried to draw Kouga before and it was a bit of a struggle, really had to reference a screen-cap for him !Just wanted to show him bedraggled, hair down, with a lily pad hanging off his fat head! And water…argh…water sucks for a newbie! Don't know if I got the effect right and the stupid filter wasn't much help...more tutorials for me! Yeah!
And, yes, I like Kouga/Kagura as a couple. I mean, I can see her with Sess (actually, I can see just about anyone with poor Sess; well, nevermind, there are some unappealing options...for instance, I am not rushing out to find the tragic tale of Sesshoumaru and the Peach Man, but I digress!) But the sparks and the screaming and the scrappiness with Kouga and Kagura would be way entertaining!
Apologies...I'm rambling...AGAIN!
Anyway, hope you like it, Urd! It's not great, but I guess it could be worse...and maybe when I get better I can fix it! It's the least I can do! Thanks again for sharing your scans with the rest of us and for always keeping a tundra-bound Inuyasha fan in the know!

Ha, ha! No, I like Kagura, but I can understand why most people hate her...and I don't argue with them! We all have our favorite characters and pairings after all! But I'm not crazy about her paired with Sess...makes me sad!

*dies laughing* Oh Kouga looks so pissed and Kagura looks so smug! You pulled off the water well, so I'm guessing the filter is good. Doing it doujinshi style really puts both expressions together well, good choice. I remember that scene too!

*Starts laughing because you are laughing* Yeah, I wanted to catch a bit of the "Oh...no, no, no, no...you did NOT just do that to me be-atch" thing on Kouga's face. And for Kagura I wanted that full on look that you know she's just biting her lips to keep from spitting out about 100 wet dog insults!
Ah, young demons in love! It's only fun and games until someone gets wholloped with youki, pinned to a tree...or...in this case, dumped head-first into a freezing river.
And, yeah, my New Year's was great...got to go hiking with the pets! Packed up into the hills and froze my heinee off!

I know, I know! I was layered...just not very well! (Kind of went to spend New Year's under the stars with the fiance and it was so pretty and romantic that layers got scrapped...camping in the snow can have challenges! But it was a damn good way to bring in the New Year!)
Ha, ha...I just love Kouga/Kagura! That should probably be the next pic...just the list of obscenities and insults each one would hurl at the other!

Yeah, either a good beating or for their ladies to take charge and shock them (or shut them up!) with one big kiss. Either one might bring that sudden shock of maturity that all male characters in the Sengoku Jidai seem to be lacking!

Yep, here's the choreography for the scene...bitch slap from either taijiya, miko or demoness (or cross-dresser...can't leave poor Jakotsu out of this one!) followed by jaw drop from either monk, wolf, hanyou or cold-hearted demon lord. Quickly add a fast, hard 'pucker-up, buttercup', take no prisoners kiss. Wind down the whole mess with a second jaw drop. Top it off with one last surprise slap and you've got it! The Inuyasha version of romance and courtship! (Sorry, silly mood continues!)
Yeah, and the way to a man's heart...that's why so many of us love Amayami...a girl who can deliver a good bone-rattlin' round-house kick while looking beautiful doing it!
