Enemy watched October as she ran from one side of the trailer to the other mumbling to herself, she couldn't find that dang hat. She had Enemy all tacked up in his shiny new Saddleseat Saddle and gleaming new brow band and nose band. He stood as Dagger nervously brushed his tail out making it positively gleam. October heard the end of the races and cursed, the hat had disappeared and she needed it for a Saddleseat class. She asked Dagger if he had seen is as he headed into the barn to check on the other horses they had brought with them to show at this large winter show. He told her no but looked inside the barn to see if they had brought it in. He ran outside holding it up and nodding his head....he told October it was in War Lord's temporary stall. He had some how grabbed before they put him in without them noticing. October sighed and swung up in the saddle, Enemy was such a huge horse that you felt like you were in the clouds when you rode him. He knew October was panicking about time so he cantered to the practice ring before October could even tighten the reins. Then took off at a speed rack once they reached it, it's his favorite gait. October pulled him down a little and asked him to stretch it out a little, to focus on his stride more than his speed. He gladly did so and was warmed up and ready to go when their class was called.

Just to keep things clear no horse at Flamin' Spades has ever been soared while under the ownership of October. Our horses have been shod but they have never been shod with performance enhancing shoes.
