I dislike them because I made them after my 4 years hiatus from drawing manga related stuff. I was at art high school. Had so many hours at school and so much stuff to do at home I simply didn't have time for manga. Also, I believed I had to get rid of that style, cause that's what teachers were telling me. Only recently I realized "What the heck?! This style is so strong in me. Why would I get rid of it and not turn in into an advantage, a signature, something unique?! Screw this! I'll go my way!". Anyways 
Oho I guess I do have re-think his role in the plot :3

Ah, I see. I dont understand why so many people dont considering manga and alike to be art, its just tics me off. <_< Isn't art something in the eye of the beholder, all see it differently, just because you dont like it or see it like less great, doesn't mean its not art. *Had such discussion a while ago xP *

I know what you mean. That's why, despite the fact manga is so popular, I always feel rather a bit "ashamed" when I mention I draw manga. I just know people will judge me and think I'm silly even before they get the chance to see my actual works. I'd rather avoid such convos.
At school it was different. I was taught the traditional arts so I had to fit in. It's not that they forced me to drop the manga, but they wanted to teach me how to draw well real humans. I agree with that. Those are just diferent types of art that should be separated. Also,I've always said before you go and think of creating your "own style" you really should know the basics. I know them and now I can experiment with styles.

Even if I think your art, manga or not, is amazing.

Well, a real artists never say he doesn't have to learn anymore. There's so much to learn in this world that you'll always find something new. You just need to be open to that. I don't respect the "so called artists" who claim their art is complete. That's a lie. They're just narrow minded.

Yeah, I say that about most things, or like my father say, who is a musician; "The day I don't get nervous on the stage, I won't play any more, or the day I don't want to learn anything more", nothing get complete, way to much to learn!

Well, he is disability pensioner since about 20 years ago after a car acciddent, but have always been musician, many in my family have been it, and still is, though he just got even more sick and haven't been able to play any music for about a year now.
