This is Melody Pastcel and she was kiddnapped by a demon science who turned her into a demon silver fish or a mermaid. Melody wnet through a painful tranformation while the demon experimented on her until she was just perfect. Melody asked why he did this to her because a demon silver fish has scales that hold a very deadly poison which the demon wants so he can poison spirit world and take over. As the demon takes many scales which makes her bleed for he takes alot of them making her lose blood.

Melody's black hair changed to a beautiful lavender silver pale blue color which is similar to her tale. As Melody recoverd from her wounds she would sing and her voice was just perfect like a mermaid and could sing in any pitch. When she cried her tears weould turn to crystals, she started to control the water aroud her but not fully do to her being so weak. The demon keeps her in a large tank where she can move around in without being cramp and feeds her fish that are alive and she eats them.

The Spirit Dectives are sent out to stop this demon but are surprised when they find Melody. Once the demon was taken care off Yusuke called Koenma and told them of their situation. Koenma makes the portal big enough where the tank appears in Spirit World. Due to the big surprise Koenma has Melody stay at Genkai's where there is a lake near by. Seeing it was summer Kurama and the others spent most of there time at Genkai's while Koenma find Melody's parents and return her ti them but there was a problem. Melody couldn't change her tail back to legs. But as time goes by Kurama starts to have some feeling for Melody and starts to hang around her more.

After a month Koenma finds Melody's parents and tell them about their daughter and what has happen to her. Not caring or beliveing him they fly to Japan where Koenma and the gang mee tthe parents and take them to see their daughter. When they got to the lake Melody's mother yells for her and when Melody comes out from under the water after three minutes her parents were shock seeing that Koenma was telling the truth. Melody swims over to her parents but they back away from her calling her a freak then run away leaving a very upset Melody.

Going back into the lake Melody didn't come up up to eat or anything for over a month. Thats why one night Kurama goes to the lake and dives into the water. He swims to the small cave that has an air bank where he found Melody laying there curled up. Kurama found many crystal tears around her and in the sand. Kurama goes over to her and sees if she is alright but she won't answer. That is when Kurama saw that she cut her writs and the pool of blood. Freaking out Kurama takes her out of the cave and to Genkai's to help her. They got her some blood that Koenma gave them and kept Melody in the tub with some warm water.

After two days Moelody woke up and Kurama gave her a good yelling and the two argued. After a while the two apologized and Kurama helps heal physically and mentally. He tells her what is going on and the two are closer than every. That is until Youko took over and started to hit on Melody. Not knowing who he was but didn't like him either until Yoko told her that he is Kurama but that this was he real form and who he was. Once back to normal Kurama then took her back to the lake. Then he asks her on a date well he was going to bring dinner and tell her what she has missed. The two soon are dating but Melody was getting frustrated that she couldn't walk around and meet other people.

That is until Koenma made a necklace which will give her legs back but can't get any water on her legs. This lets Botan and the girls go out and get her some cloths. Melody then becaome shomed school by Genkai until she is caught up with the stuff she missed. Then she goes to Kurama's school where Kurama watches over her and lets everyone know that she is his girl friend. Soon they go on a couple of dates and live happily ever after.
