and the more i think of it, the more depressing it gets :3what have they done to you my dear Anders!
i'm well aware that you cannot complete a romance with Aveline, but since it's given a flirting option several times she counts as well..
Dragon Age 2 and it's characters belong to Bioware, of course.

Being a straight male, I tend to have my character stick to female romance options.
But even then I aklways stick to Merrill. The reason being is that Aveline has a sub-plot involving her own romance and I don't feel comfortable in getting in the way of that. And as for Isabella, not only is she a criminal, but one whose actions almost caused a war.
So yeah, I'm left with pretty much no option but Merrill.

The only thing I dislike is the she-male comment about Aveline - I actually think her character is very pretty. Another thing is that Aveline doesn't enter a relationship with you because first she is in mourning and then she falls in love with someone else.
