Description After practicing drawing Marco's expressions the other day and submitting this deviation, [link] , I thought it would be fun to try one of those essential expressions memes. I went for the 30 expressions version since I like drawing Marco and needed the practice anyway. I can definitely say I've never drawn this many expressions EVER, and they aren't perfect, but I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. Which one is your favorite?

So many facial expressions! (This helps an Aspie like me a ton ) Neat! So you're writing a story about a jester too? Awesome! I've been writing my story for 10 years. It has been taken apart and stitched back together over and over, but it's still has the two main characters from when I first started writing it. Once I get my writing major, I will start writing it again. It helps to have experience under your belt when presenting a story.
Too bad Disney quit hand drawn animation... I loved the renaissance age.

Yep, exactly that is the real objetive of this meme, to do expressions that your character never will do, but is just for practice ;3

I always love seeing people do this expression meme, because they're actually able to draw every expression - believe me, I've tried to do the 25 Expressions and I couldn't do it, because my characters had the same expressions (e.g. Sarcastic/Irritated look the same, Confused/WTF?! look the same) :L You even managed to do 30 AND make him look the same in every picture...so GREAT WORK here!!

Sorry! What I meant by him looking 'the same' in every picture, I meant that he looks on-model in every picture - used the wrong term there

Haha, no, I understood what you meant. This was defintely a challenge though...some of them still look the same (suspicious and irritated looked more similar when I put them both on the page) even though I tried really hard to make them all distinct!

I don't think they look the same, you did a fantastic job making them all look distinct! It shows how talented you are as a character artist The furthest I've got with this challenge was doing only 15 expressions, 18 at most

It was really hard to draw "sarcastic" - that has to do more with words than facial expressions, right?! But it turned out one of my favorites too. Thanks!
