Ahh, I see. I have to admit, I like how the protagonist looks.
Also, is Mighty No. 9 even out yet?

Special "We're Sorry" Demo was released not too long ago. Full game comes out sometime in spring of next year.
However, beef people have with this game is the very plastic and lack luster graphics.
And the admitedly basic level design which is rather disappointing considering the people working on it have done several Mega Man games under their belt.
The game is pretty decent and enjoyable in my opinion, with some flaws. But it's evident to see why others are upset by it.
And this isn't even touching on the company's currently abysmal PR.

You'd think, even when some games released today have 8-bit graphics and no one complains about them, that people would stop complaining about graphics altogether.
If a game has bad visuals, I can understand that. For instance, if it has an unappealing art style, it's obviously not going to appeal to most people's tastes.
But that's just me.
Sad to hear about the basic level design and PR though.
Hopefully they can patch up the problems to make the game a lot better.

Visuals, are pretty much where I'm getting at when referring to graphics.
There are some levels that look appealing like the intro stage.

And then there's stages like MightyNo.2's Water Bureau. Which is pretty bare bones.

Granted, the second stage can only be played in the backer beta build.
But, the Military Stage was also part of the beta, and we got that for the special demo.
A lot of us feel like what we saw in the beta is what should expect for MN2's final build.
Then there's the really plastic and lifeless look of Beck and Co's models.
Luckily the animations give them at least a little bit of life.

Ah, I see what you mean. Yeah, it does look pretty standard. 'Tis a shame.
