great painting but why is there a Salamanders heraldry on the door and a ultramarine heraldry on the body of the stormraven?

This is, quite earnestly, among some of the most gorgeous and awe inspiring pictures I've ever seen in a very, very long history of surfing deviantart. The use of shading is brilliant and gives it one of the most lifelike feelings of any picture I've ever seen despite the fantastical setting. And the perspective-the way the foreground gives a sense of fear and barbarianism only to fade to a feeling of hope and majesty as you look into the background...The sense of motion...Really, there's too much good to say about this. I simply don't have the words.  

I really, really hope you keep doing stuff like this, because it is simply amazing.
