Description Another example of Art Deco in Atlanta! I've been inside this one quite a few times since my work actually owns in and one of the offices I deal with used to be housed there.

This is one of the front light fixtures -- which matches quite closely other Art Deco fixtures I've captured -- see:

About This Building
The W.W. Orr Building dates to 1930 and was designed by prominent Atlanta architecture firm Pringle and Smith. (The same firm was responsible for the William-Oliver further south down Peachtree St.) The base has relief panels representing the staff of Asclepius (sometimes referred to as the Caduceus), a symbol of medicine and healing. This is a nice touch since the Orr building initially had medical and dental offices, which disappeared over time but came back again several years ago when Emory Healthcare purchased and rehabbed the building, which is now used for health care administrative and other related offices.
