Your art and style has always been an inspiration as I've developed as a young artist. It still saddens me that I was not able to appreciate it while you were still alive. You will always be missed.

Hear, Hear! People who aren't into comics often complain that they're repetetive or unoriginal, but I agree with you; it's comforting to travel down the familiar paths of story. Some of the best stories ever written are just retellings of old stories. "Star Wars", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and "The Lord of the Rings" are retellings of archetypical stories that humans have been telling for as long as we've had language.
The point isn't to be original, the point is to tell a good story.

ok i realized a while back the reasoning behind all of these superhero phenomenon you speak of -civilians in superhero worlds a idiots.a pair of glasses can disguise a man built like a linebacker into a bumbling reporter thats just madness.i guess its the same reasoning how someone like joker can hold the city hostage get his ass handed to him and ends up right back out of arkham to do it again somehow

man there's nuthing like a good spiderman story.
you really have the look of him down.
I like how with Parker there's a look where bruce wayne or a lot of other unmasked superheroes could look like anything.
the camera came out good too.

Great pic, I love your style and the image of Spidey behind him like his thoughts is great.
If Jameson didn't hate Spiderman with a vengance I would say somewhere he suspects Peter is Spiderman. Or perhaps he does but he knows Spidey sells papers, who knows I'm just speculating now.

I am really hoping, that post-Civil War, he becomes a photographer again. Maybe under an alias?
You and Bagley, honestly, draw the best Peter Parkers (Bagley's Ultimate rendition, anyway). Your adult Peter is my favorite because you do make him look so ordinary, which I think a lot of artists forget: Peter is your neighbor, the guy you pass every day to work.

I, too, like Peter better as photographer, which is why I'm glad that MARVEL ADVENTURES SPIDER-MAN finds him doing that again.
I've said before that you are great at drawing Spidey, but your Peter is nice as well.
By thy side,
Figaro

You've captured that retro 70's charm that Spider-Man used to have. And I agree, Peter working for JJJ was so much better than him being some teacher. But that's hardly my least favorite decision made about the Webhead's mythos in the last 5 years. Still, kudos. It's always great to see that the classic Spider-Man still lives on in some people.

Man you aren't kidding. I at first dug Peter as a teacher, but, reading the books, he's not really teaching anymore. I prefer the photojournalist angle too.
I loved in the third movie when they ask Peter how he got the shot, and he says he climbed a flagpole. That was hilarious, especially Eddie's response to it.
Nice pic, bro. I always have a hard time getting that Parker look. He to me, is one of the hardest characters to nail down.

Lois always suspects that Clark and SUPERMAN might be one-and-the-same... but she just can't really wrap her mind around it.
Just like the coversation that the Shoveller and and Mr. Furious have about Captain Amazing in the film version of Mystery Men?
Mr. Furious: ...because Lance Hunt is Captain Amazing.
Shoveler: Oh, don't start that again! Lance Hunt wears glasses. Captain Amazing doesn't wear glasses.
Mr. Furious: He takes them off when he transforms!
Shoveler: That doesn't make any sense. He wouldn't be able to see!

What I've always noticed as the primary difference between the two is that I bought the idea that Parker wound up with photos in order to make the bread, but I never believed that Clark had the ability to write articles for the Planet.
