Link is a trophy that’s been around since the world of trophies began. He has always been revered as one of the strongest fighters out there. Especially after being able to constantly out match toon link for years. However, in the world of brawl, link has become significantly weaker since his melee incarnation. He joins the second smash tourney in brawl to redeem himself and restore his former glory! And possibly…get a certain princess.

Link’s fighting is based all around power. Being a swordsmen, he is most effective in short range combat. If he gets you in his sights, your done! However, link is very limited when it comes to long range and he’s much slower than his previous incarnations. So if he can’t get close, he’s done for! But you let him get close, you better get ready for pain!

Link might not be strong at long range, but he has many tools to help him close the gap. He has a bow and arrow that allows him to attack from his longest rang possible. For a medium range distance, he has his boomerang. But with the help of Zelda, it is now enhanced to have a gale wind with it. This can be used to bring items close to him, or bring opponents to him to help him finish his opponent off. He also has a supply of bombs he can throw to reach a Varity of distances and catch opponents off guard. And he when finally closes the gap, he has his famous spin attack. However, he’s learned how to charge it so I can gain power the longer he holds it. Making this his greatest close range attack!

For his final smash, he has the triforce slash just like toon. And it has the same ups and downs as well. And it has the same amount of pain that comes with it!
