If you want to find the girls who secretly like you?
1. Attend a very large gathering of all your acquaintences that is held in a very large room.
2. When you arrive, pick a corner that makes you highly visible and wait there until everyone arrives and settles in. Probably need 30-60 minutes minimum. Possibly all night depending on the individual girl's level of shyness and/or self-esteem.
3. Slow march to the opposite corner of the room, making strong eye contact with anyone who looks in your direction. Take note of any girl who seems facinated with their shoes or the ceiling rafters. Try to look very intense and slightly scary. Mutter to yourself in disgust. Appear to disapprove of everything. Try to imagine the Four Horses of the Apocolypse as your wingmen. Don't go too far trying to look like a bad boy thug, or every girl will rush to talk to you and mess up these test results.
4. Any girl who leaps out a window, or runs full tilt into a blank wall, or freezes like a deer in headlights; or moved out of town to hide under a rock the day that the event was announced, just to avoid the possiblity that any of the above happening--that's the girl who likes you.
5. If there is such a rush that girls have to wait in line for the opportunity to run smack face first into a blank wall, then all those girls are rivals fighting over you.
6. Look for signs of hair pulled out by the roots, slap marks, and fingernail scratches. These signs heal or fade rapidly, but you don't really want a girl who uses only half-measures. Broken false nails or nail wraps entangled in her hair or clothes are also strong indications that leave more durable evidence. A girl who pays for a manicure only to damage it on an attack on a rival is a girl who already loves you deeply.
The trick is to find a happy medium between dedicated and sane. Guys who want to avoid being dumped in a humiliating fashion learn to ratchet up their tolerance for larger amounts of crazy.

I saw the episode, i thought the climax with them was a bit mean spirited, knowing it wasn't really dippers fault, and they wouldn't just randomly appear out of nowhere, but he lost the chances, and we all lost a pairing to ship.
