in the head shape and a little bit in the body , but I think his legs are a littel too lean or long .. makes him look too tall to be a Breton.
but its your design you choice , this was only coming from me cause I show them in the summer ( and have two so I see them and there body shape all the time

I seem to have a problem with making my horses legs longer than I should! My sketches end up looking more giraffe like sometimes (Perhaps something to do with the TotH horses being so tall!)

no not an expert 
I truly have never seen a Breton myself , but from the link you provided in your description and the photos I've seen they are really wide in the chest , which presents that are a little lower to the ground, great for hauling , and much thicker muscled ( perhaps that is why Delvin looks so tall , not so quite think legs ?) I'm not sure
yes once you get into a style of drawing horses its hard to draw something a little different ( tried drawing a draft horse once, didn't turn out quite as well as I would have liked
well there not much for pointers , just some thoughts form a friend

I've never shown any shires but my friends have Clydesdale and I have helped show for them ( they have nice horses and show for sport ) so they've hired me to help them

Yes definitely!
Any breed can inherit a dipped nose (Not all to this extreme of course), but it can happen!

Roman noses are usually considered quite an undesired trait in equine anatomy... ( I happen to think they look badass though...!) Hence why I use them for my baddies!
Obviously I exaggerate my characters to an extent for personality! ^^

Well I have not met a horse with a nose like that before. I don't see how its undesirable, kinda looks like it fits for a snooty kind of personality of a guy on top. Well when it comes to drawing things in a cartoon, some things should be exaggerated a bit so the beholder can know that "Hey! that is a distinctive feature one should be aware of.

I've only ever seen a handfull in person! My most notible encounter was at a show jumping competition I was watching. A man got thrown off by his horse it bolted - I caught the horse and had to keep him calm while his rider recovered! He was a HUGE guy with a really roman head - I suppose that inspired me a little with my TotH characters! They have a presence about them ^^

Oh you get to handle horses? Thats cool. I only been around very few horses when I was little. so I am not sure how well they would like me or not. I do know however that dogs and some cats seem to like me alot. Once I visited my sister and she had these 3 new cats. I sat on the sofa and it was not long till they got on my lap and her Lab dog got up on the sofa with me. My sister says that her cats normally hide from people. But I have no idea if I would have a simaler effect to a horse. But I do know one thing. I like the feel of a horses nose. Its so soft. I remember that for some reason, I liked petting a horse's nose.
