Description
Here in the Early Cretaceous England, we see a Hypsilophodon feeding on leaves. Hypsilophodon and its relatives are one of the most successful of the archosaur family. They can feed on plants that other archosaurs couldn't swallow. Hypsilophodon has small teeth on its beak, making it the first herbivores to chew its food. If an Eotyrannus comes along, Hypsilophodon can sniff out and run for cover. Its small size and light build show Hypsilophodon is very speedy.
