Description Why do cloudless sulphurs sip mud? Well, this butterfly is tasting salt. The cloudless sulphur is often observed feeding from mud; it is thought that this may be a source of salt for the butterfly. Plus, butterflies like this one get salt from not only mud, but from sweaty skin, and eyeballs of other creatures!
