Description
The seas of Scotland is where we find the second-largest shark in the world; the basking shark. Like the whale shark, basking sharks are planktivores. It feeds near the ocean surface, especially when plankton is abundant. How the basking shark got its name because it spends a long time feeding under the sun. That's the theory, anyways.
