Beau: Dee Dee! Look what I found in my attic!
Dee Dee: What is it, Beau?
Beau: It's a book of mysteries and a magnifying glass.
Dee Dee: Oooh! I wonder what's inside?
Beau: Well, it was written by a team of meddling kids and their talking pet.
Dee Dee: Talking pet? That's strange.
Beau: Yeah, and they go on a lot of adventures, solving mysteries, and unmasking imposters.
Dee Dee: Wow, they did an awesome job of doing things.
Beau: Well, Dee Dee. Not all of them were successful.
Dee Dee: Huh? What do you mean, Beau?
Beau: Do you remember when they went out to the woods and got lost while looking for a witch?
Dee Dee: A witch from that horror movie? Or it's some other monster?
Beau: I think so. Anyways, a team of meddling kids got attacked by a monster and it ends with-
Dexter's mother: Whoa, whoa, whoa! That's not how it goes!
Dee Dee: Mom?
Dexter's mother: It's a team of meddling kids and their talking pet expose that Blair Witch ripoff, and then they went back home and told the folks about it!
Beau: I don't get it.
Dee Dee: Are you sure you're not making this up, mom?
Dexter's mother: *smiles nervously* Sure, I'm sure!
