Description
As night falls in the forests of Papua New Guinea, we see a striped possum that is coming out of its den to search for food. The striped possum is named for its three white stripes running head to tail, and its head has white stripes that form a 'Y' shape. It feeds on insect larvae, leaves and fruit. In order to get insect larvae, the striped possum uses its fourth finger to tap on wood.
