This is my very first mesh I've ever made... a very funky look rock! XDI hope this is the start of me becoming a decent mesher that will be able to create things for both FH and IT for players to use and maybe one day take requests.
This was made in Blender 2.48. With help from this tut:

Great rock. Is it in a map? Rinanti, as you should know, loves climbing and a nice climbing rock would be perfect.

I've been having trouble making meshes... and getting FH to accept their existance. Could you maybe give me a run-down on how to do the basics? Please?

Thanks! And actually 2wks ago I couldn't make a mesh to save my life. xD
The program I used is completely free. :3 I had tried to use it once before but I totally failed and didn't even get it installed properly and I gave up very quickly.
The next program that got suggested was suppose to be much easier but it was $75... So I gave up on meshing...
Until about 2 weeks ago...
I was looking on the FH forum and found Hammy's tutorial on working with Blender.
A couple questions and a couple of fails later, with Hammy's help, I made my first mesh you see above. :3
So go look, you might be surprised that you CAN learn to mesh. I thought I never would, but look above... it's just a rock, but it's 3D object I made all myself and put it into FH.
Sometimes all it takes is some help and patience.

I myself am trying to learn to mesh. If it isn't to much, could you teach me a little? I already have Blender, and some experience in it. But if you don't really want to could you give me the link to Hammy's tutorial <3?~

You should so put this in the map. Some kind of lion's rock or whatever of sorts. I want to climb all over it. xD
