I know a girl
She puts the color inside of my world
But she's just like a maze
Where all of the walls all continually change

And I've done all I can
To stand on her steps with my heart in my hand
Now I'm starting to see
Maybe it's got nothing to do with me

Alcatraz has been having trouble understanding his daughter recently, and what her actions mean about his fathering abilities, especially with the recent events... ;-;

He is her father, eager to control every move she makes, and quick to take responsibility for her decisions. But at the end of the day he finally realizes that Teva isn't him. She's Teva. And putting such pressure on her, or any of his children, is wrong. She's her own beautiful wolf, who has her own unique mind, her own thoughts, her own actions, and her own mistakes. Just like he had (also to the dismay of his own parents). Teva has to figure it out on her own. All he can do now is love her.

((And the more I think about it this father and daughter are more alike than I even realized))

This picture is portraying a happy memory Alcatraz has of back when Teva was a juvenile/young adult, when he takes her out to explore the territory. Back when the world was bright and happy for both!
