Hi all! This has been a busy time for me here in RI. My town hasso much fun for the 4th of July. Every night there is a live concert,
the carnival comes to town, fire fighters have water battles, and a
big parade on the fourth. Fireworks included! My town of 50,000
has about 300,000 visitors. I cook and clean and clean and cook
for a solid 3 days, then have tons of people over. They stuff themselves
with my food ( I love it!!) and leave a mess, but it's a good mess
Also this week I lost my last cat Bo. When she layed down at my feet
I just knew she was not going to ever get up again. She was 18 years
old. I got her when she was only hours old, someone threw her and
her 4 siblings in the trash. She was the only one left alive. I bottle fed her
every two hours and managed to save her life. In return, she has been
a loving pet to us all. I cried so hard holding her for the last time. My
heart broke in so many ways. I like to think of her as a kitten again,
playing and waiting to see me once more!
So, once again I am behind

You really know how to put your soul into those compositions. Although composition is not such a good term to use for what you create. It IS truly a work of art.

I am so very sorry about your beloved pet. I recently lost my dog of 12 years and I am inconsolable. That is what prompted me to come back to DA and try to work out my emotions in art. I hope you feel better very soon dear.

It's a beautiful piece and I love feeling of calm it portrays.
I also want to say I'm glad you had a good time on the holiday. Not to sound bad-but RI is Rhode Island? I used to go there for several years in row on the 4th-used to stay for weeks with my uncle and his wife. My grandparents used to take us to visit and watch the fireworks and the parades. I loved the area as much as the red white and blue lines in the treet.
I also want to say how sorry I am for your loss. My heart goes out to you and I can not possibly imagine how hard it was for you. That you were there at that moment-I'm sure she knew she was loved-and how she was found. You have such a kind heart and for her age it is easy to see she was truly happy.
I wish you strength and my thoughts are with you.

What a small world it is! Yes, that is my home town, Bristol, replete with the red, white and blue lines in the street! I'm glad to know you have seen the activities here, busy and crowded but lots of fun. I love this little town, so beautiful and I love that it is so close to the water
