Ayyy art trade w this super cool person: of her fursona Maliah!
Hyena's are one of my favourite animals(I've got like 50 different favourites before you ask :') ) but they're really bloody hard to draw! I drew 3 different sketches, not including this one, of Maliah and all of them looked so weird aaaa. Haha I'm glad it turned out all right in the end though.

But what I tend to do is draw the outline of the trunk and branches, colour them, then add a new layer for the leaves in one shade of green then add some dark splashes where there are shadows and some light patches where the light is. Idk I'm actuallly quite lazy when I draw trees haha

Aaaa that looks amazing for someone who says they can't draw trees! I'm loving the leaves!
If you want some tips I could probably offer a few:
I'd make the leaves shorter and more round and maybe add some little patches of blue in between the leaves to make it look like the sky's shining through

I don't know what my fursona would look like, even though Maytine has her own story she's the one with the personality most similar to mine and she's based on two of my favourite animals... I think about making one a lot though, they'd probably be some sort of vulture/deer thing :')
