As for Trolls, I don't know why the franchise is so successful, but nothing in it appeals to me.

I'll admit, for a while when I first saw it, I respected the Prince of Egypt for it's story and drama, but I despise it now for it's preachy gospel-inspired songs (Playing with the Big Boys Now was just cheesy and out of place) and for its Biblical association. I just can't watch it anymore.
