Description This is only a mini-bio, for now, so I thought I'd borrow 's format!

Concept History: Originally, as noted before, Sting started out as... just a bee/wasp-themed Spider-Man. Named Buzz. That was essentially it. Yeeeah... old shame dies hard. But, as time went on, inspired by Iron Man, Batman Beyond and plot bunnies that steadily crept to mind as I began to further expand the character, he transformed from a metahuman to an armored vigilante and Legacy Character.

Character:
Name: Zachary "Zach" Vespa
Age: 15 (Sting - Volume 1); 17 (Sting - Volume 2)
Personality: As Zachary Vespa, high school student, he is quiet, shy, tends to stutter out his words, and reserved; preferring to blend into the crowd and not make himself a target, despite his remarkably high intelligence. He also cannot talk to girls, at all. In private, whether with his family or alone with his close friends and partners, he is notably much more relaxed, a genuinely friendly and nice guy to get to know, and willing to use his knowledge to help any of his friends or family that ask for it; preferring to be called "Zach", and much easier to converse with; but suffers from an inferiority complex, due to his parents' well-known research and studies. As Sting, he is MUCH more confident and proud of himself; often seeming to be more of a party animal than he is a superhero, prone to quips and witty remarks, as well as the odd bit of flirty commentary here and there. Is a massive fanbpy of many veteran superheroes and what they represent, particularly his father (a retired hero known as the Hornet), often trying to emulate them early in his career before finding his own path.
Powers/Weapons:
-An advanced combat exoskeleton, the Sting Armor, that augments his strength, speed, reflexes and durability; is capable of supersonic flight; and equipped with various features, such as radio communication (via the antennae on the helmet), force field projection, two retractable blades in his wrists (referred to as stingers) as well as mini-lasers; and powered by his father's Tesla System, allowing him to generate and absorb electricity, as well as project it in the form of various different forms of blasting
-Advanced intelligence beyond his age; has created numerous gadgets to assist him in his hero work, including other suits of armor and "micro-bee" robots designed for surveillance (and equipped with a flash-bomb "selfdestruct" trigger)
-Moderate skill in parkour, to compensate for lack of fighting skill and strength early on
-Later trained in Western boxing; allowing him to create a fighting style focused on agility and quick jabbing strikes, rather than wide, powerful swings

Inspirations: Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Tony Stark/Iron Man and Janet van Dyne/Wasp from Marvel Comics; Terry McGinnis from Batman Beyond; Yugi Muto/Yami Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh!; and Billy Batson from DC Comics

Ha! XD How's that for irony?

Although mine uses powered armor, so that's probably a definitive difference... and he's a teenager.

Well mine is a villain who uses industrial armor, and a 5 foot tall and 1 foot wide poisoned tipped katana. In fact, maybe he'll be the character I post next.
Kinda funny how both Steel and I have characters named Warhawk and now this. Maybe great minds think alike...

...Evidently. XD

...Sting and he mustn't cross over...

Isn't he a murderous vigilante?

Sting?

No, no, hell no! Sting isn't a murderous vigilante; he's... well, as a hero, he acts like a party animal and wild card, but he doesn't kill. Part of his development is becoming a Capeless Cape, as the trope goes.

Oh no I meant Warhawk. Should have clarified better.

Aaah...

Yeah, Steel's Warhawk IS a murderous vigilante.

Ok. That makes sense. Any chance that we'll be seeing villains of Sting?

Eventually, yes... but those villains are gonna be HARD to draw... XD

Especially one who is a cyborg... with a mechanical spider's body replacing his own, from the waist down.
