the shadow doesn't quite look right...but very nice image...i would have been tempted to add a male creature in the water leaning on the large lilly...as though hes concerned about her

I too have tried to use the girl you used for this piece but my extraction of her from the photo would never turn out right so i gave up onit sadly.

first i upped the contrast, then i used a combination of the magic eraser tool and the magnetic lasso tool (in photoshop...im assuming you use that)
