From birth, Haja was a lot like her birth mother, in both appearance and personality. Even raised alongside Taka and Mufasa, both very mischievous boys, Haja was always the calmest of the group, never losing her temper or her cool. Even when Ahadi's favoritism came to light more and more, her interest was never in the crown and more in her own life and path. She saw herself not as a princess, but just another lioness of the pride. Spending time with Nafasi and Uru only served to make Haja calmer, even as Mufasa's animosity towards them grew. But it came to a point where Haja began to actively avoid her older brother, tired of his annoying taunts thrown at her and Taka. Even though she thoroughly disagreed with Mufasa's attitude, she also didn't encourage Taka to lash out like he did, resulting in the truth of their parentage.

The revelation that Ahadi was not their father shook Haja to her core just as it did everyone, but Haja healed much faster than her brothers. She'd spent so much time with Uru that in the end, once she'd heard the real story, she couldn't be mad at Uru, and despite knowing the truth, Haja always considered Uru her mother in the end. And as she aged, Haja managed to someone keep up relations between Uru and Taka, and while Taka grew apart from Mufasa, Haja and Taka always remained close, even as they aged and Taka drifted off. As much as Haja would like to gloat and tease, she still loved her brothers, even after all that had happened. And as they aged, she saw changes, both good and bad, in both of them. And she, too, began to change.

With no interest in the throne, Haja turned to the duties of the lionesses of the pride, and began taking hunting lessons. With few cubs around, Haja didn't get any proper practice until Sarafina was born, with Haja still being a teenager. Haja was very curious about being a cubsitter, and though she fumbled at times and got things wrong, Haja was determined to learn more, and so became the sole cubsitter of the pride. She fostered a strong relationship with Sarafina, and Haja felt much more comfortable being a cubsitter, learning through Sarafina the best places for mischief and how to thwart troublesome cubs.

Haja's life seemed to be going good, until the final crack in their family. As much as she tried, keeping up with Taka's activities was difficult, but she'd still noticed he seemed to come by her less and less. When Ahadi struck out, Haja's love for Taka grew, and her trust in Ahadi diminished. She'd believed maybe he could be a good father, but her hopes were dashed, and she completely cut herself off from Ahadi. She could never cut Uru off, but without question, she no longer considered Ahadi her father. It was now that her grip on Taka began slipping. His distrust in not only Ahadi, but the rest of the family, isolated Haja, and she was heartbroken to find he'd pushed her to the very edge of his world.

As time moved on, Haja found a surprising change, in that she began to grow closer to Mufasa, but was also drifting for Taka. In fact, the only thing to bring the three back together was their mother's death, and for a moment she thought that maybe, just maybe, they could all be close again, like when they were kids. But, she was sorely mistaken, as it didn't take long for Taka, now 'Scar' to once again distance himself. However it seemed, for the time being, that things were peaceful, and while she opposed Taka's marriage to Sarafina, and even urged Ahadi to end it, Haja knew she was still here to support and care for Sarafina in any way she could.

Time passed, and Haja believed maybe that was the end of their troubles. Mufasa's new wife, Sarabi, was a welcome addition to the pride, Mufasa took his role as king very seriously, and Scar, for the most part, wasn't causing too much trouble. Haja was among the first to give birth to her two cubs, Chumvi and Kula, followed by Sarafina's own litter, and finally, the crown prince Simba. Life was flourishing in the Pridelands, and for a time, it seemed nothing could spoil it.

But, Scar seemed back up to his old tricks again, and Mufasa grew worried. Knowing Scar wouldn't listen to him, he asked Haja to try and talk sense into Scar. She agreed without question, hoping that maybe, after so much peace, it wouldn't be hard to convince him to end this silly feud. But what Haja found wasn't what she was looking for. Instead, she discovered Scar's plans to kill Mufasa. Fearful, Haja raced to tell Mufasa, but Scar noticed her presence, and he sent the hyenas after her. Though Haja put up a good fight, she was outnumbered, and perished at the jaws of the hyenas, another innocent life taken by Scar's greed.

And now Haja, my baby girl! I like to think of her as the mediator between her brothers. At the same time, she's tired of their crap too xD Still, she can't help but love them, even considering what ends up happening. I hope you guys enjoy
