I found out that 1436 (or Oliver) would have worked on the Southall branch because it was allocated at Swindon then later SouthallΒ

Oliver has the wrong livery. If this were Duck, it would be more accurate. Othrwise, once job.

1947. Is that the year that the Mid Sodor Line closed?

I believe they closed in the 1930s.Β  I picked 1947 as it was the last year before nationalisation.Β  It was the last year that steam engines like this would have run in the GWR colours.

Oh, fair enough. The mid sodor trio always intrigue me. BTW,Β Do you have any thoughts on why in the actual books that it appeared that Peter Sam and Sir Handel didn't tell the others about Duke until years later? It's somewhat implied in the prologue of 'Bulldog'.

It could be that they just didn't think to mention it.Β  After all, leaving Grandpuff behind would have been an emotional experience for them, and something they may not have enjoyed telling others - survivor's guilt.

That's actually a good theory. Thanks for your opinion.

Nice! It is good to see that William has his own model. Does this mean he will return in STMY in a flashback or something like that?

Quite possibly.Β  I haven't really decided yet.

It was just a reskin of a previous model I'd done as a request, back when I still took requests.

Hmm... What's William's basis?

That's nice. Hmm, William is a fictional number. Is he going to become a new cast member of 'Sodor, The Modern Years' for the NWR, WildNorWester?

He actually appeared in STEY using a different model and would have been scrapped, although I'm not sure on that part, so WNW decided to make a model of him.

I see. I guess I'll have to wait for him to respond back and see for myself.

Oh, that looks like a nice character! A large Prairie, nice work! Is it a real-life engine number for the class?

I've borrowed Reverend Awdry's trick again.Β  In real life, the 61xx numbers stopped at 6169.
