Description Hi all,

As you can see, I've started on my model of Boco.Β  I've completed the basic body shape, and started on the detailing.

Thanks to RailwayFan2001 who was able to provide me with some plans for the Metrovicks.

I'm guessing that like Toad he would have a grey face, too. Would've been neat if he were like D199 and had an optional RWS livery-coloured face.

Pardon my awkward intrusion, but there's no other way for me to reply to the comment left by Lugia.

lugia61617 Β I'm honestly surprised at you. A self-proclaimed purist/elitist, and yet you haven't figured out a fact as simple as to why BoCo's face keeps changing? It's not inconsistency. In the RWS, and you can even see this illustrated in images of BoCo with the other engines at Tidmouth, BoCo has two faces, much like any other big diesel, or in some cases, smaller diesels like a Class 08. On one end, BoCo's face is half-yellow. On the other, BoCo's face is full yellow. I am surprised you couldn't figure it out when the information is right there on the wikia for you. Then again since the wikia is mostly TV series stuff, someone like you wouldn't touch anything related to the TV Series with a 39.5 foot pole, I bet.

I think the only problem with the idea is that BoCo's face has been inconsistent in the RWS - sometimes it was a big yellow rectangle, sometimes it was half-green.
I always personally found it odd that Devious Diesel, Rusty, Frank and Mavis were the only ones who ever had a grey face, while all the other diesels we see (BoCo, Daisy, the Other Railway diesels) have eyes, a nose and a mouth matching their front end's colours.

I'll be doing him in both the BR and NWR livery.Β  In the BR livery, he'll have the green bufferbeam, for the NWR livery he'll have red.
