Beautiful.
I love the laid back, unconventional feel to it. Between the pose and even down to the couch itself - being something other than a simple, boring, straight, oblong object.

Great use of natural light and the location.

Thanks a lot, Luke. . . Some reception places provide you with good opportunities for photography. Some are very limiting.

I can believe that, regarding wedding venues.
But, I guess it's like most locations - A good site can make a bad photographer great, and a bad site can make a good photographer... earn his keep.

Yep. Take your point. . . But I still like good locations.

You're on to something here Andy. Most wedding pictures are pretty formula. This is different, and refreshing. Nice

Ther's a whole lot of photos that have to be taken - but you look for different ways to take them if you can. . . But there are moments of greater freedom - particularly during the bridal party shoot - where you can experiment a lot more. . . The experimentation I do in model shoots I try to transfer across to weddings - the angles, perspectives etc.

Absolutely. . . With a wedding you're usually restricted by a time slot (which is often not the ideal in terms of light) and by a location which makes it hard to be creative.

Tell me about it.... I have done a number of weddings over the years... I hated doing every one... Sometimes I think the relitives are just tring to save money... I must be a real soft touch, I let them get away with it every time.... Of coarse I plan on getting even with my sister by having her take the photos of my next wedding... I don't know what to do about my daughters, I guess they will just have to stay married to the same person... No more freebies... Of coarse the youngest is getting prety good in her own right.

I enjoy weddings for some weird reason I can't define. . . I must have done 60 or 70 and only one or two of them have been in any way unpleasant.
