Nice, that water colour is perfect...even for a scan

Thanks. I wish I could get better quality scans. These images print out much better than they look on screen.

Know wot you mean...i have a very large print of a portraiture for a customer's cat. Marvelous on print but not so good scanned as the tones are really dark. I lost the original RAW Might give it a go anyway and scan it, I am lamenting the day I lost the digital file.

I use digital and raw format all the time now. I feel I have more control over what I'm doing.

nice picture, but it isn't sharp enough

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

wildplaces In reply to cyberci [2006-03-30 23:09:20 +0000 UTC]

I tried to put the sharpest focus on the arched island in the middle - but there's such a range of distances involved here that even on an aperture of 22 or 27 it's hard to get the lot sharp enough.

Nice place. In Normandy, we have also natural arches like this one.

It must be beautiful. . . I've mainly travelled on the east coast of Australia and I've seen nothing like this before.

i like how there is an arch way in the middle... i dnt no of another word to describe it atm... too tired lol

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

wildplaces In reply to Lisa-Gane [2006-03-30 10:12:48 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for commenting then, Lisa Lol. . . An arch is fine. I expected someone to call it a horsey or something like that. . . Only tomorrow and then the weekend!! Yay!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lisa-Gane In reply to wildplaces [2006-03-30 10:14:19 +0000 UTC]

i reckon wooo and then only 2 more weeks then holidays .. melbourne here we come.. you always go places that look so peaceful and entrancing.. ok i think i might change my opinion from arch to horsey!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

wildplaces In reply to Lisa-Gane [2006-03-30 10:36:44 +0000 UTC]

It's not a horsey - it's an arch!!!!! (i hate it when you go on cave tours like Jenolan and the guide points out all these lovely formations and gives them dumb names - and then people on the tour - like my mum - see all sorts of other horsey things. I feel like saying: They are rocks! They are bloody beautiful rocks. They don't need to be horsies to be beautiful!!!)

Hope the two weeks spin past quickly and that the Melbourne trip is a winner!
