OK well there are literally thousands of Sunsets/Sunrises/Cloudy Sky's and so on here on DA, so what makes this one special, and or noteworthy...well firstly when this opens up full screen onto my laptop, it is simply overwhelmingly beautiful,no hills, beaches, or anything to distract the eye from the sheer power and raw beauty, it is truly magnificent!!and here's a thing, it is actually how the photographer saw it at the time, i guess what i am actually saying is, we cannot fully grasp the scale and beauty of such images, viewed on our cell phones or tablets, even on my large screen laptop, i cannot fully comprehend the vastness of the sunset.
So in conclusion, a beautiful piece of work, that in reality can only be appreciated ( without actually being there) on a large scale format ) or as a fine print framed and hung on a wall, then one can sit and reflect in quite moments the sheer beauty of our fragile planet. Job well done and i look forward to seeing more in this series of images.
