Description I think seagull swore at pelican for at least a minute. Clearly this lamp was a preferred perch. . . For some reason pelican didn't take too much notice.

Pelican itch is pretty unpleasant. Don't go swimming in the Myall Lakes or at Forster then.

i hates myall lakes... i went to hawkes nest for yr 8 camp and we had to do some stupid walk because they were politely telling us we were fat and unfit .. and on this walk there was a decaying dolphin on the rocks...

my aunite lives in forster so pretty there

I walked out to the hill that's joined by sand at the end of the beach once and the whole beach area was covering in a metre high mass of rotting seaweed. It was putrid in the extreme.

I don't know that pelicans are nest-scavengers, although . . . Little birds here go berserk at the sight of currawongs (nest-stealers) and channel-bill cuckoos (you know what they do). . . Quite understandable righteous indignation.

Look at the pelican's beak. It's massive. The gull obviously just feels insecure. And that's only compounded by how confident the pelican is of its formidable.... tool. It's 10 times easier to catch fish with a... tool... like that. Gull's got beak envy.
