Description
I start to play Zelda: Majora's Mask recently and I become fan of Happy mask Salesman. I can't stop drawing him!
d:So I tested color him with different media:
- With Adobe PhotoShop CS3, as I do always.
- With fabulous Promarkers, but I've only 4 grey scales ones.. é_è
- With color pencils, looks good IRL but my scanner raped it.
- With aquarellum, very fun! But I must take an another paper type next time... 80g/m² is definitely not good!
- With random markers, shitty as always. >_<"

It's actualy a sniff-it mask. But I won't be suprised if he havad Pyro's mask.

Well, of course most people will say Photoshop. In the comparison, it has the brightest colour.
But colour pencils are always a great idea. Only, well, you experienced the scanner yourself. But what you can do after scanning is that you give it a little more contrast. Most scanners have options as well. Try some scans and note down the options for the best result.
Aquarellum, definitely a plus. If you have the right paper. 
Promarkers: Well, they rock. But - argh! The prize! Here in Austria they cost 3€ each at minimum. And that's way too much for my low pocket money. Otherwise I'd work with them too. I just have pens for lines and they cost me a month of saving.
"Random" markers always have the problem that they're too wet.

The problem with my scanner is it kill every pencils pics. I've tried many options but every try became a huge fail. Even with the "best" settings the colors fades away...
Aquarellum is a plus yes, but it takes me too much time and I need more practice in this medium. Since this pic I found good paper of course. 
I buy Promarker on Lettraset website, sometimes they do discounts and you can choose what you want. I use Uni Pin fine line for lines, they are good as Lettraset one's for a lower price. ^^
I need more practice with traditionnal medias, actual ones are not really representative of my art. The only problem is I am too lazy! >_<

I would hate to see him angry if that is his happy face. Photoshop is the best imo, the markers make him look like an imp >.>. Oh my god, he took shinigami's mask!

photoshop and color pencils if you ask me, the shading looks extremely good on Pencils

en voyant comme ça, evidement, photoshop..... mais en sachant comment le scanner pourrit les coleurs aux crayons... bah putain irl comme tu dis, ça doit etre magnifique !!!!!!!! evidement TOI tu sais comment faire xD moi ça ressemble a rien meme irl XD
la couleur de peau est mieux avec photoshop, mais jadore les vêtements aux feutres !

Aquarellum! The colors look nice and bright without being too tacky (like in the photoshop & random markers versions). love the different assortments of masks hahaha <3
