Description
One of the colony worlds of Wild Space Saga is Jakarta's Pride. Because of a massive amount of biological weapons that were used during the Imperium Wars, all male colonists were wiped out, and the genetics of the remaining female population were mutated to the point where they could no longer reproduce with males. Therefore, the Jakartans have had to resort to alternative methods of reproduction (DNA splicing from a donor, induced parthenogenesis, direct and composite cloning, etc.). When the world was annexed by the Second Imperium, it became the center for the clone banks where the soldiers of its army were birthed. These are born full-grown, with all data needed for their function downloaded into their brains. However, Jakartans do have "normal" births. Shown is the decanting of a newborn infant among the common citizens.
