Description
This was rendered over a period of almost 24 hours (at full size which btw is 1,2000 x 12,000px)…I passed up antialiasing because that was running the render time way out of control, but rendering without AA was still a ridiculous length of time. Anyway, I love this, the “flower” looks like a hibiscus and the outer edges are full of mandelbrots… I guess it was worth the long wait!Made in Fractal Explorer

Only a few little rough spots and those would be hard to find unless you know exactly where they are... I do love my laptop for creating the huge originals. One does have more control if you do AAing manually. Then too, filtering can be fun... I also have a few closeups of this image ready to make into renders, so many nice things in this scene i couldn't resist...

Thanks Certainly one for the Florals group! I've never seen a flower this realistic before in Fractal Explorer, I had just about given up...
