David I put as much time into the digital darkroom as I spend on the bike doing the photography.

I use several editing programmes. The two programmes that I use, mostly, are Lightroom and Canon's Arcsoft.

With this image I used a capture tool in Arcsoft and softened the background trees and using the capture tool sharpened the giant Bunya Pine.

With Lightroom, I added the coloured graded tints using the Gradient Tools.

Not much of my work is straight out of the camera. My style of working/photography borders on being photo manipulation.

Ang, thank you for your kind words. It is very rewarding when the work is appreciated.

Some days the landscape does all the hard work though, and I'm merely the recorder. I think that I know who should be given the most credit ... I favour the accolades should be given to Mother Nature.
