Description For this portrait study I combined two references to create a new image.  For lighting and color I referenced a portrait by Sargent.  For the features I referenced a photo.  You can see those here:
 

This forced me to analyze rather than copy.

You should have just painted that lady how she was, she's gorgeous. It's a shame she got whitened and mixed

Looks so simple and clean, very nice!! I'm always trying to get that oil painting feeling in digital art, but it always ends up too ..sharp(?) which brushes did you use?
