“What do you think about a black one? Maybe white?” “Oh gray on you would look great!” “What are you two talking about?” Ichigo asked in an annoyed tone. “We’re talking about homecoming! What else!?” "I don't think I'll go.." Ichigo said as he played with his food. "What! You have to go Ichi! Or it'll be so boring!!" You cried as you poke his shoulder multiple times. He sighed "Alright, alright I'll go.." You smiled "Yay! So we’re all going!" You say as you high five Orihime. "I'm not going" Uryu said as he pushed up his glasses.

"I have more important thinks’ to do besides go to something as childish as a dance!" You glared at him, then picked up the apple that Ichigo wasn't eating "If you don't go I'll throw this as your face!" His eyes widened "Alright fine!" He said as he held up his hands in defense. “Oh..I’m so excited!” You almost jump up and down in your seat with happiness.

~Time Skip~

"What about this one!" Orihime said as she held up a red dress. “That would look great on you Orihime!" you answered "Not me silly! You!" She shoved the dress into your hands and commanded you to try it on. You slipped into the small dress, staring back at yourself in the mirror. 'This looks horrible on me. It makes my hips look to big and my skin look pail' You think as you walk out of the dressing room.

All the girls gasped "That looks great on you ______!" Tatsuki said as she smiled at you. "Yea! That's a keeper. Rukia said as she looked at herself in the mirror. You smile "If you guys think it looks good then I'll get it!" You run back into the dressing room and pay for your new dress. After the shopping was done, all four of you walked to a restaurant for lunch “I want Uryu to ask me!” Orihime states. “I really hope Ichigo asks me to dance” Rukia said as she started at her soda dreamily. Suddenly you feel jealous and bad. You had a crush on Ichigo and wanted him to ask you to dance. You chew your lip and put it off for now. Tatsuki sighed “Why are you guys so caught up with guys anyway?” You hung out with them till 7 PM.

~Time Skip, Morning~

"Hun, do you think you could run to the store for me and pick up some floor for this cake?" your mom said while gesturing to the cake ingredients. Your parents were headed to an 'adult' party and we're the one’s suppose to bring the cake. "Sure thing" you say as you finished your eggs and headed out the door. It was still pretty early and not that many people were out at the time. You heard the low "dink!" as you opened the door to the small store. "Good morning miss!" That casher says as he waved. You pay for the floor and make your way home.

That's when you heard a loud monstrous sound then, something grabbed you around your waist. You scream as you see a huge Hollow staring at you. "What a nice soul" it said in a taunting voice. You let go of the floor and started to struggle to free yourself. That's when something cut its arm in half sending you to the ground. It screamed and stumbled back, holding its wounded arm. You looked in the directing it was stabbed and see Ichigo. You saw he was in soul form. ‘thank god’ you think as you let out a relived sigh.

He attacked the Hollow as it was occupied with its wound. The moment the sword strikes it's body, it disintegrated. Ichigo turned to you. "Are you alright ______?" He took both your hands to help you up, but when you stepped on your right foot pain shot through your body, causing you to fall to one knee. "______! Are you ok?!" "I think sprained my ankle" he wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you up. "Lean on me" following his directions you leaned your body weight on him. "Wouldn't it be easier if you just carried me?"

"I guess your right" he placed a hand behind your knee and pulled you to his chest, carrying you bridal style. He carried you to the hospital, where they put it in a boot. With Ichigo's help you made it back home. "Guess I'm not going to the dance huh?" You laughed "Man, and I still gotta go.." You laughed again "Guess so. I'll see ya later Ichi!" You wave good bye as he started the walk home.

Since your parents weren't going to be home until 12 you have almost half the day to yourself. You told all your friends you weren't going, Uryu was the only one happy since now he doesn't have to go. Hours passed an in no time you looked at the clock and saw around this time people were making it to the dance. You sigh, a little upset at how you didn't get to go.

That's when you hear a light knock on your door. You limp to the door and open it up. "Hey" You look up bewildered at seeing Ichigo here when he's suppose it be at the dance. "What are you doing here!" He shrugged "You couldn't go so I decide if you’re not going neither am I" you smile and blushed "Aww you didn't have to do that!" he nervously scratched behind his head "Nonsense, I wanted to" you move out if the way so he could walk in

"I'll make some tea" his fingers wrap around your arm gently "Sit down, I'll make it" without letting you reply he got up and walked to the kitchen. He came back shortly with two steaming cups of tea. "Here" he placed the cup on the table in front if you as he sat down next to you. "We're taking requested now! Anyone!" The radio you had been listening to blared. "I'll be right back!"

Ichigo dashed up the stairs and you here a door shut" you stare at the stairs for the longest time, wondering what that was about. He came back soon after with a really light pink dusted over his cheeks. He picked up his tea and took a long nervous drink from it. Feeling awkward you said "Want some cake? My mom made me some while she was making one for the party"

Ichigo was about to say no until you interrupted him "At least try it first!" You didn't allow him to say no as you quickly dash into the kitchen to retrieve a slice. You come back soon with a small sized slice on a plate. You plop down next to him "Here" you hold up the plate for him to take. He looked at it through the corner if his eyes, but turned his head away from it. You jabbed the forking into a piece and broke it off "Here!" You say a little louder. Once he turned to look at you his face turned pink, but reluctantly placed the fork into his mouth and chew on it for a little.

He swallow "It's ok" "Ok?!" He ignored you and listened to the songs playing on your radio. You sigh in defeat and start to eat the rest of the cake. "Alright folks, this was requested by strawberry, enjoy!" Suddenly a slow song you'd hear at a dance started to play, it was "bubbly" Suddenly Ichigo stood up and moved so he was in front of you. He extended a hand "Want to dance?"

He asked as he stared into your eyes for an answer, his face was a dark red. "N-No" his hand lowered “W-What? Why!?” You blush “I-I, um..I-I don’t know how” he smiled “Come on, neither do I so if you screw up I wont even know. We’ll learn together” you timidly take his hand and start to stand but soon trip over your own two feet. You fall into Ichigo who helps you steady yourself. You blush darkened in embarrassment as his arms wrapped around your waist and interlock at your lower back. You slowly rest your hands around his neck, interlocking your fingers together. You put a little extra weight on Ichigo due to the boot making it difficult to slow dance.

You avoid his gaze, not watching you step on his feet "S-Sorry" you say as you start to try to back away. "No! It's fine" he says gently as he moved a bit closer to you. You return your hands to his neck and look into his eyes. He smiled sweetly back at you with his cheeks lightening. You smile a bit back. That was..until he attempted a spin. You were able to spin, but coming back was your problem.

Going a little too fast you crashed into Ichigo. He wasn't ready for the impact; he fell backwards, bringing you with him. He broke your fall, you landing on his soft chest. Once you realized what happened you shot up on your knees with a dark blush "I-I'm sorry!" He placed a hand on the ground and leaned up, wincing as he touched the back of his head "Ow..It's alright." he stood back up and waited for you to follow. You blushed a bit more and sit there awkwardly. "Hey, I'm fine..See"

He gently took your hand, bringing you to your feet and pressed it to the left side of his chest with his over yours. You felt his heart pound against your palm "See, no need to get worked up" he said gently as he took a step forward and leaned over, pressing his forehead to yours. “I-I’m not worrying!” Suddenly he wrapped his arms around you and lifted you up so you were higher than him. “Yea you were”

You wrapped your legs around his waist and your arms around his neck in instinct, thinking you’d fall. “Umm, _____? Think your could loosen the death grip” realizing you were holding his neck a little too tight you loosen your hold on him. He tipped his head slightly so your noses and foreheads were touching."I-Ichi-" suddenly he moved that extra inch so his lips were barely touching yours. You gasped, a little surprised at his sudden action. You found yourself lightly pressing your lips against his but only to snap back after a second.

He gave you a content smile which your returned before he placed you back on the couch once the song endded. You both end up watching Romeo and Juliet only to fall asleep against each other at the begginging of the movie.
