Done rather a bit more painting on it.Hopefully the NMM is beginning to show more and you'll like it more.

I love Mentor Legion scheme ^_^ and their Fluff... YOu're doing an army of them or is it a one time deal?

My friend decided on the army, and since then I have painted a scout unit, a tactical unit and a devastator unit all in this scheme.
This is the latest in the models I've ended up painting for him.
I really like the scheme as well, as annoying as white is to paint.

For the white oi have my own technique... I know it's note really a puffy white you see on white scars, but i Use Astronomican Gray and then I only highlight it with skull white. Apparantely it makes an Illusion of white.

I've heard that Astro grey is very useful as a basecoat for white.
I just use codex grey and then highlight up, from a white undercoat.
I may have to go for Astro grey at some point.

I use it as a base for my skeletons in tomb kings army. A really good foundation paint. one of the best purchases at citadel ^_-

The highlights on the chest are pretty sweet dude. I was wondering what you did to the arms or are those the typical Ironclad arms?

Cool, must be the camera angle, it certainly shows the might of a dreadnaught with that claw right in the foreground. ^_^
