Description One more burnetiamorph!  Paraburnetia sneeubergensis is known from the Late Permian; its fossils were found in the semi-desert Karoo of South Africa.  It was about the size of an average dog, with a skull of about 17.5 cm long.  But it had wonderful knobby decorations to its skull!  I make them brightly coloured here because I strongly suspect they were used in display; there might have been a bit of action in the form of head-butting involved also.
