Description
The last of my V cosplay barrage!A prototype full costume version of my V ensemble. The mask in this instance is my initial first success version, with a poorer paint job than its successor.
As before, the mask, doublet, and belt were either handmade or made with my assistance. The hat, wig, and gloves are all altered from found goods. My plastic convention knives are similar in appearance, but in this instance I'm using metallic replicas, since I'm not in public and they have a nicer reflection.

One day I'd like to make a witch hunter style hat similar to the graphic novel, but that's a dream for another day...

Β Awesome V costume.May I ask what kind of fabric you used for your doublet?I am making one myself , and thinking of using microfiber suede fabric for the jacket, cotton twill for the cape and pants.

This is awesome, Do you still have the pattern you used for the Doublet? if so is there any way I could get a copy of it? I'm in the middle of trying to make my own Doublet for a costume, but i keep messing it up. Also, what materials did you use?

Thanks! The boots are the one "big ticket" item I simply bought outright. They're from scaboots, renaissance fair style boots. I figured if I was going to be walking around a lot, I may as well get something that was fairly good quality.

Its very worth it. So often costumers skimp on the boots and it really detracts from the outfit.
