I have for you the color and completed, or almost completed version of my last deviation submission, Demetre and the Girls . I also call it Demetre y Las Ninas, but I don't know what's Spanish for Demetre (sort of named after the group Selena y Los Dinos.)

So there you have it, a colored drawing of Demetre Adams with Francine Frensky, who has her arm around Demetre, Mary "Muffy" Alice Crosswire, Sue Ellen Armstrong, Jenna Morgan, Fern Walters, who has her hand on Demetre's shoulder, Ladonna Compson, and Maria.

I planned, and finally got around to, making a picture of Demetre with the girls, the girls of Mr. Ratburn's class. Demetre, despite his Asperger's, also attends Mr. Ratburn's class. Anyway, Demetre, being the only boy in the picture and with the girls, no other boys. No Arthur, no Buster, no Brain, no Binky, no George, etc. And it's time I drew the female Arthur characters, not just the boy characters, whom I drew so many pictures of, and will continue to do so.

The girls all like Demetre and Demetre likes them too, although he doesn't have a crush on any of them, nor do they on him, they're all just friends.

And I really planned to put Francine, Muffy, Sue Ellen, Jenna, Fern, Maria, and Ladonna all in this picture and I had to make sure there was enough room for them. I didn't put in Prunella though, I don't really like her, sorry to say. Anyway, and like I said, this isn't my first drawing with Francine in it, but my first drawing of all the other girls and boy was it not easy to draw them! But it was worth it!

This picture could be better though. I think I messed up on Sue Ellen, who I ended up making look like her mother and I couldn't accept that, I wanted Sue Ellen to look like herself! I think I also messed up on Jenna, Fern, Maria, and Ladonna. And this is only my first picture of these girls, although I don't plan to draw some of these girls a lot. I also repositioned Maria's eyes.

By the way, Demetre was enrolled at Lakewood and joined Mr. Ratburn's class sometime after Ladonna came, but it's not Demetre's first time in Lakewood, it's his second.
