Description I have for you my fellow Loud House fans and fellow railfans a drawing of Lincoln Loud and his best friend Clyde McBride at a railroad crossing, waiting for an Amtrak passenger train to go by.

This is my second drawing of Lincoln and Clyde at a railroad crossing (to see my initial picture willm3luvtrains.deviantart.com… ). This is a different railroad crossing than my previous one, though.

What was not so easy was drawing the backs of Lincoln and Clyde, and what was really hard to do was find pictures or screencaps of such. For Clyde, I used this theloudhouse.wikia.com/wiki/Cl… . And for Lincoln Loud, I used another Deviant Artist's picture but had to get creative, naruto46r.deviantart.com/art/L… posted by (mentioned for crediting purposes) Okay it's not the artist's drawing, it's a screencap, (and why not? I post screencaps too) but it's still a picture of the back of Lincoln. True I could have used this one pm1.narvii.com/6131/4079914098… Or perhaps I should have used this vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/t… and I could have used a model sheet, it would have helped a lot, but I didn't find one until after I posted this. I didn't find a lot of good pictures on Loud House Wikia, not even on the Lincoln and Clyde character gallery pages.

I wanted Clyde and Lincoln facing the train so I hope I did a good job on this.

My Amtrak train isn't completely realistic, I didn't go for a totally realistic approach, I kind of made it cartoony too. I mean I'm using a modern Amtrak AMD 103 P42 diesel locomotive in Phase V paint scheme but I made the locomotive shorter than it really is (trains on cartoons are shorter than trains in the real world so I didn't think my audience would mind.) I also didn't add a number to my locomotive, and I won't always do that, in fact, trains on cartoons don't usually feature numbers and don't always have a railroad logo on them. Speaking of which, I would have put a logo on my locomotive, but Lincoln's head is in the way so I didn't make it.

I also decided to use single-level Amtrak cars, although you only see the first one. It's a Phase IVb Amfleet coach car. This train is supposed to travel to and from Chicago, IL. This train and the railroad crossing is supposed to be in Royal Woods, which is where the Loud House is supposed to take place and where the Louds and Clyde and other characters live, and also which is in the state of  Michigan theloudhouse.wikia.com/wiki/Ro… . It's not often states are revealed in cartoon shows but we know the Loud House is in Michigan, I even looked it up for myself a few days ago. I mean I read the Loud House took place in Michigan but I wanted to see for myself and make sure it wasn't just made up.

Now that I know the Loud House is in Michigan, Amtrak has three routes www.amtrak.com/michigan-servic… Another source with the same map image michiganradio.org/post/10-slow… . There's:
  • Blue Water
  • Pere Marquette
  • Wolverine
  • I don't know which one of these routes my Amtrak train is, mostly because I don't really know where Royal Woods is located in Michigan. And besides, this is a fan-made picture. I've never seen a train on The Loud House, yet, maybe someday we will, but I doubt it'll be an Amtrak train since they are rarely featured on cartoons (The Simpsons is one known cartoon that features Amtrak trains and it was in a few episodes: "Burns, Baby Burns," "Kill the Alligator and Run," and "Brake My Wife, Please." The word "Amtrak" is also mentioned in the episode "Moe Baby Blues" where, well these are the lines/ quotes: "Bart: (to Homer) You could be my father figure.Homer: No way! I'm not getting my fingerprints on that train wreck! If I lose :Maggie, I'm 0 for 3. I gotta get her back!Bart: I can help you!Homer: Pipe down, Amtrak!(End Quote) No train is shown in this episode. simpsons.wikia.com/wiki/Moe_Ba… . Another source that talks about this is discuss.amtraktrains.com/index… . I also just created this blog on Simpsons Wikia simpsons.wikia.com/wiki/User_b… )

Plus the Fairly Odd Parents episode "Cosmo Rules," there was a locomotive that looked exactly similar to the locomotives Amtrak uses, although I cannot say for sure whether or not that was an Amtrak train.

Maybe the Loud House will feature an Amtrak train, maybe they won't, I cannot say, (likely they won't so fat chance!) But whether there is an Amtrak train on "The Loud House" or not, I am doing fan art of it anyway, nothing says we cannot do that! But like I said, I don't know where Royal Woods is in Michigan, so I don't know which one of the three Amtrak trains go there. In fact, I don't know if Amtrak even goes to Royal Woods, and if it does if it would be one of the three existing routes or an imaginary route (the Amtrak train on the Simpsons episode "Kill the Alligator and Run," was guessed to be one of the three existing routes that go to Florida: "Silver Meteor," "Silver Star," and "Silver Palm" (Now "Palmetto") and that episode takes place in Florida, mentioned in the discuss.amtraktrains.com website.)

That was a whole lot of detail, but Amtrak is rarely featured in TV cartoons.

The signal shown at the crossing is a 12x24 signal with Dialight "ball" L.E.D.s, Safetran type 2 electronic bell, and gate with vertical stripes and R.E.C.O. 4" L.E.D.s. Also included on the signal is a STOP ON RED SIGNAL sign. In the state of Michigan, it's state law that all crossings with signals to have STOP ON RED SIGNAL signs www.rxrsignals.com/Michigan/ . www.michigan.gov/documents/mdo… So much of my Michigan Railroad Crossing Signal artwork will have STOP ON RED SIGNAL signs, although just because you see a STOP ON RED SIGNAL sign in my drawings doesn't automatically mean my picture takes place in Michigan.

This is also my second picture to feature an in-cartoon-show Amtrak train (my first one, which features Carl Gould from "Arthur" willm3luvtrains.deviantart.com… ) Well actually it's a fan-art cartoon Amtrak train picture. My cartoon Amtrak train styles will vary, I won't stick to one style.

This is only one picture I plan to have up. I plan to have another picture of Lincoln and Clyde and this same Amtrak train at this same crossing. I'd have had another picture up but didn't have time or energy to make another one, barely had energy to make this one! So hopefully soon I'll have another picture of a fan-made Loud House Amtrak train and other fan-made Amtrak trains for other cartoons.

Before I close, take a look at these fan-made real-life passenger trains by other artists
