nah. maybe in a fan comic. (that's actually a cool idea though!) but in this continuity her japanese character name was chromia. Otherwise, the traditional G1 chromia never existed in TF Galaxy Force/Cybertron

i drew this before tf cybertron was released in the states... she was "chromia" in transformer galaxy (the japanese version ) same character though.

Um, her name's not Chromia, it's Thunderblast... But i hate her, she's a slut in Transformers: Cybertron!!! >.< Real bitchy and she goes for the strongest baddie! I just....Argh!!! Good thing Lori totally told her off in the episode 'Ambush' that was funny as hell! ^-^

in galaxy force... her name is chromia. i watched galaxy force before cybertron came out in the states, so that's how i knew her at the time i drew her. i thought she was a fun character though. not the best female character in the past few series, but not too bad.

I like Thunderblast/Chromia too, she's not exactly a good role model for female fans to look up to, but then again, she's a decepticon, a villain, she's not supposed to be a good role model, she represents negative behaviors people shouldn't embrace (and entertains us while doing so). At least she wasn't gender bent like Override XD

I also think she's a breath of fresh air in some ways, not every female character needs to be a femme fatale who wants to overthrow her boss like Blackarachnia, or a broody super soldier like Strika, male cons and bots come in all shapes and sizes and personalities, the same holds true for femmes as well. Thunderblast was a manipulative, mean spirited fangirl/gold digger who'd follow whoever happened to be the strongest con in town, and this made her a unique and entertaining character to watch, whether she was seriously out to slag an autobot or simply crushing/cheering for Megatron.

I'd like to see her again in another series, maybe with another female con to play off of so we can see different sides of the spectrum...Can you imagine Chromia/TB having to work alongside Strika? XD

very true. Even in TF Prime with the two female characters in that, we don't have a character like her. Though honestly... I much prefer Arcee and Airrachnid to Chromia/Thunderblast. They much stronger and definitely deeper character. But... it is fun just to have a goofy fun (and backstabbing) female character her.

I enjoy the new Arcee too, even if she kinda looks like a female version of TFA Prowl. Her new paint job & warrior skillset is awesome though, & she's among my fave autobots on the new show. Airachnid on the other hand...Is my least favorite transformer in the series, she just screams Blackarachnia knockoff to me...Only for some reason she turns into a helicopter instead of a spider & can magically control Insecticons...Even though arachnids aren't insects & she's not even a REAL spider so it makes even less sense for her to mind control Insecticons "goes cross-eyed" XD

But to each their own, Thunderblast/Chromia is still a fun con to watch, switching from lovesick fangirl to deadly siren at a moment's notice (maybe she'll get another shot someday, Strika did in TFA, & she was great in that series, Go Team Charr!).

Sorry, I just looked up TF:C up on Absoluteanime.com a couple days ago and was proven wrong upon seeing her JAPANESE name. I blame myself for not doing enough research... and not paying much attention to the japanese version in the first place.
