so, i wanted to redraw the river i did a few years ago, and then it got complicated because i did things with the background and the only thing i kinda like is the shading whoopsi thought i'd post it bc i don't do that enough

Woah...I really love how you did this! The shading and lighting looks beautiful, and even though the background is simple it actually just makes the drawing stand out more!

Oh this is beautiful! Β I love the background omg!! ;o; Β The shading also
fits it perfectly. Β I can never seem to get that right. x'D Β I remember seeing
the Riverspirit drawing you did awhile ago. Β There is definitely improvement
in this picture. ^^

hey, thanks <33 yeah, everyone seems to love the SHADING, including river herself! I'm rather surprised because I can generally never get it right either. and yeah, I DEFINITELY see the improvement cx that old drawing was horrible, I'm surprised she even said anything on it!
