Description

As Sofia grabbed and bent yet another bar ripped from one of the machines, her super hearing quickly picked up movement in the hallway. She could hear someone coming. She was amazed that she could even hear his heartbeat. Looking up towards the hallway, Sofia was amazed at how the walls seemed to melt away. She could see through the hall and at the security guard coming down. She dropped the ruined metal in her hands and quickly moved near the door. She hid against the wall as the door opened and the guard walked in. He looked in shock at the destruction that had taken place in the gym. Weights were strewn about the floor, machines bent and wrecked, and multiple destroyed barbells.

As the guard moved more into the room, he felt a swish of air blow past him. He turned to look behind him but found nothing. He dashed into the corridor but found it empty as well. Convinced that no one was around, he moved back into the gym area to examine the damage done. Little did he know that the gust of air was Sofia moving at super speed behind the guard. As he created a large enough opening between himself and the doorway, Sofia used the opportunity to move faster than the eye could see. She ran past the guard, down the hallway, and into the stairwell. By the time the guard had realized what had happened, Sofia was back in her apartment.
