When Lois Lane gained the powers of Superman and became Superwoman, one of the first things she did was fly to the planet Mars. The cold, airless vacuum of space meant nothing to her new invulnerable body. Nor was the millions of miles distance from Earth to Mars a factor either. Within moments after leaving Earth's atmosphere, Lois accelerated to speeds that even amazed her. In what felt like seconds, she was coming to a landing on the planet Mars. While nobody knew it (or would ever know), she immediately became the first human to set foot on the planet. Technically, Clark Kent did not count since he was just a Kryptonian raised on Earth. Lois spent several hours exploring the planet and playing around. When she was done, it was just a short trip back to her apartment on Earth. She made a mental note to explore the other planets in the solar system and maybe even see if she could break the light speed barrier to reach Alpha Centauri.
