Here is the classic yellow nautical wonder that has been beloved by so many. Like everyone else in the universe I feel SpongeBob really lasted in essence for its first three seasons and first movie. The very low quality of its dragged out run doesn't negate Stephen's original vision however. The fact SpongeBob is still relevant is more to do with people loving who he was than what it currently is.
